Antalya

Antalya, a city integrated with its natural and historical beauties, is an important point in Turkey in terms of tourism, being preferred by local and foreign tourists a lot. Antalya, which has a mild climate, plenty of sun, the fact that it is the place where the Western Taurus meets the sea and is decorated with numerous natural beauties, is almost the Mediterranean state of paradise.

Termessos

Termessos, hidden among many wild plants and surrounded by Dec pine forests, is one of the best preserved ancient cities in Turkey. It is located 30 kilometers northwest of Antalya, on the Korkuteli road. It is located on a natural platform southwest of Güllük Mountain, at an average altitude of 1,150 meters above sea level.
Termessos has a different and impressive atmosphere than other ancient cities with its peaceful and untouched appearance. Due to its natural and historical riches, the city has been included in the scope of the eponymous national park.

 

Kaleiçi

Kaleiçi is the city center of Antalya, which has brought the history of the city to the present day, surrounded by sea and land walls. The houses located in it offer information not only about their architecture, but also about the way of life of the people who lived in these houses, their traditions, social aspects.

Konyaaltı

The area known today as Konyaaltı was originally called “Koyaltı” because of the fact that Antalya was located on the cliffs. The region, which has Decisively received its current name among the people, is located on a long coastline.

Perge

Perge, located in the Aksu district of Antalya, was one of the most regular cities in Anatolia during the Roman period. The ancient city, which is especially famous for its marble sculpture and architecture, has made a great contribution to the Antalya Museum with its sculptures that have been uncovered during archaeological excavations.

The ancient city, which is also important for Christianity, was one of the stops that St. Paul visited on his missionary travels.

Aspendos

The most famous feature of Aspendos, located in the Serik district of Antalya, is the amphitheater. The theater in question is M.S. 2. it was built by the Romans in the XIII century. This theater is the oldest and most intact example of the Roman Theaters in Anatolia that can be reached to the present day with its stage. The theater was presented to the emperor's family with the native gods of the city.
